Ninja/Dark Build
They are all the same.
1. Do a search for Dark on these forums.
2. Download the build you like and swap out that pet set for ninja. If anything pay attention to undead since they are similar in attach fashion, meaning mixed range and melee pets. But really it does not matter as long as Dark is slotted properly.
3. Re-slot or respec any powers that do not conform on the pets side.
4. End result between darkest night and the stealth you should be very close to defense cap.
Once you have something you like post it up and have people pick it apart to make it better.

ive been looking for a good build for a Ninja/dark ive looked all over there forums and haven't found a single one. if anyone could help that would be awesome just need a good solid build for Tf's, trials and all that jazz.

But /Dark is quite good especially after the buff on healing radius.
Ninja pets need a lot of babysitting because they don't have resistance (except for Oni's fire resistance). Genin's innate defense is too low to matter against higher level mobs.
Ninjas do "good" damage. On paper, they are supposed to do "great" damage but if they die, they deal ZERO damage. I think Ninja/Dark is a good Ninja combo to start. You just need to use your secondary more to help your very squishy pets.
If anyone wants you to be on TFs, it has more to do with your /Dark secondary than your Ninja but I am sure most leaders are just happy to form a large team regardless of AT and sets.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
