If you don't want to be charged anymore, you actually have to cancel/close the account, which can be done through the account management page. You'll still have access until your paid time is up, but once it's up, you will no longer be able to play and your card will no longer be charged.

If you cancelled the credit card on your account, you will still be charge the $15.00 fee that you've already paid for, but you should not be charged anything else.
Check your account summary, it should say "None" under "Subscription".

If by "started playing today" you mean you're on a new account (trial and/or full new account running off the "free month" of gameplay) you won't be charged further - as was mentioned - if you check under the game account, it's sub status should say "none". If not, just hit the "Cancel Sub" button that should be near by.
