Giant monsters spawn rates for badges
All of the blue-side GMs (with the exception of Kronos Titan and Hami) are random spawns. Kronos only spawns after the Stop All Wildflower Agents mission from Crimson is completed, and Hami only spawns after the defeat of a certain amount of Monsters in the Hive. (No number is known in terms of how many to defeat.)
I find your lack of signature disturbing.
There is not one blueside GM that is spawnable by players. Although, for two of them, the spawn cycle can get 'stuck' and you can unstick them:
1) The Croatoan battle of Eochai and Jack in Chains is preceded by three waves of battles between Cabal+Pumpkins v. RedCaps+Santa'sReindeer. If some of those spawned combatants aren't killed, the next spawn doesn't happen and thus the GMs won't show up. However, if you kill them off, then you can make the cycle complete and the GMs will show. However, the initial start of the cycle is on a randomized timer that is not affected by player actions. Also, Jack and Eochai can spawn separately from each other at other places in the zone.
2) Paladin gives the badge for *preventing* his spawnage. If Paladin does get spawned, he (and maybe two other copies from the other two spawn points) winds up loitering in a park in uptown Kings Row. This prevents the next spawn cycle from happening. By killing Paladin, you can allow the next spawn cycle to happen. Although, I think that may have been fixed with a code that forces Paladin to despawn now instead of only at a server reset.
Redside, the two GMs you mention are the only spawnable ones. The Flyer and Scrapyard are on randomized timers. Scrapyard is almost always up anyway. And the Flyer badge is much more easily obtained in the Statesman TF (which, in a way, I guess could be defined as player-spawned).

Drats. Does anyone know how much time elapses between two spawns? Paragonwiki states that the time brackets listed on the official site's GM section are outdated, but I can't seem to find the new rates.
Surprised it hasn't been noted in this thread yet, but Babbage gets spawned after the second to last mission of a Synapse TF in Skyway City (usually just north of the southern tram station).
He is also available on a random basis along the north wall of Boomtown.

I was wondering if any of you guys had any info on spawn rates for GMs. I know you can force-spawn some of them (Like Deathsurge or Caleb) but what about blueside ones like Adamastor or Jurrasik? I need some of those badges and I'd hate to have to rush-group to hunt them down, or plan a hunt with little to no chance of running into one. |

I would add to this the fact that Babbage is *BOTH* a random spawn (occurring in Boomtown) *AND* a player-generated spawn (by running the Synapse TF).

I was thinking the OP was only referring to zone GMs. But, you're right in that the zone GM of Babbage is spawnable as a mission ambush GM, too.

Random spawns are random. It could be 5 minutes in between, it could be an hour, or it could be an entire day. (I'm pretty sure I recall reading something early on in the life of CoH that made it so GMs had to spawn at least once per 24 hours.)

On a related note, it seems that all the spawn timers are reset by server maintenance. If you patrol the various spawn points an hour or so after the servers come back up, you're very likely to find some GM's.

Also, because it hasn't been mentioned and I don't want to miss anything, you do know that there is a channel that announces when most of the monsters spawn, right? I say "most" because I think one or two are broken and don't show up on the channel. Also, I should be saying "channels" because there is one for redside and one for blueside.
