Stuck at login screen - can't get server list

Hi Raithnor_Mal,
I'm sorry you're having trouble! Have you tried running the Repair function in the NCsoft Launcher? If not, could you do that and let us know if that solved the problem?

Thanks for the quick response Freitag.
I tried running the repair (consistency check) on both the Live and Beta Clients several times. No dice.
Also tried running the live client in Safe Mode, same result.
Anything else?

I'm sorry that didn't work for you. If that didn't work, then I'm afraid I can't really give you an answer just now. It's about 1am here, and so, of course, I'm not in the office. The best I can do is try and get in touch with someone first thing in the morning to see if the issue can be cleared up. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience.

Do you get to the screen after login to accept the EULA? If it hangs before you see that screen it likely isn't the serverlist causing the problem, but I don't have an idea on what it would be.
ALSO: If you have a shortcut to CoH on your desktop(not the launcher itself) you can try adding
-verify
to the Target line, outside of the quotes of the file that is in that box, with a space between the endquote and the dash of verify.
That will have a separate thing verify your files against the server, as I understand it a separate/alternative method for the "Repair (Consistency Check)" built into the launcher.

It seems I can get past the server list and into Pinnacle, but only on that server from what I've tried so far. That's fine, it's my home server where I only play. I did however, want to log onto the EU servers and say hello to my fellow Supers from across the pond.
It was a no go on the two English-speaking EU servers. Then I tried Infinity, then Liberty, and then several more. Now, the entire time I was trying to get on these other servers I was making new characters to jump in with. I tried with a character that was already made and voila. It worked. I was able to get in.
So it turns out that any new characters I make and try to log in will not load into the server. At about half-way progress on the loading screen I get a crash report window, every single time on a new character made post-server list merge.
That's bad. Real bad.

I was able to run the -Verify switch, it ran, but it didn't fix the problem. Tried running the game in "Safe mode" and it didn't work either.

At least you can login, after I hit play now, the client doesn't even respond anymore.

I'm stuck after I hit play...
Loading...-Screen stays on for ever, don't even get to logging in...
Tried repairing the client, of course to no avail...

Hmm, I tried verify from the NCSoft Launcher...
And I switched to US-Version, copied my CoX-folder, patched and verified this... now I have CoX and CoX (EU) - of course none of them work...
Tonight I will try the test servers, did not finish patching yesterday...
Same problem here and I'm EU.
I can't log in and I also I get the following message on startup "Error parsing command line argument 'auth 64.25.36.4-project euCoH'"

I seem to recall hearing that a recent change (possibly before the merge) made the auth flag unnecessary (implementation of the NCSoft Launcher I think it was now that I think about it). I don't have any ideas for the OP, but with yours I'd try removing the auth, and maybe change the project coh part to the basic "-project coh" and see what happens.

Not that I changed anything on my side, though...
You didn't change anything? I'm still not getting anything despite tech going through all the things I've already tried. Not happy at all

Ok, so getting annoyed that tech were just running me around in circles and faffing about with firewalls and my network for 2 days (I knew this wasn't the cause of the problem) I took matters in my own hands and uninstalled CoH last night and then re-installed this morning.
Guess what? Yep I logged straight in with no problems at all. It's a little extreme but a solution none the less...

Hey guys,
I'm having a problem getting into the game. I'm able to open the NCSoft launcher and I'm able to run the Live client. I can get to the CoH login screen, but after I put in my username and password the screen hangs.
I know we just have the server list merge but is there something I'm missing? I've been trying to update the client and have it run the repair, but no dice.
I can get into Test but not Beta, so it sounds like the problem is with the server list merge.
Any suggestions?
