Fury of the gladiator -res

Thought this might be the best place to ask.
Im currently planning a thorn dom because there so many procs you can fill it up with.
I currently have skewer, ripper, barrage with 3 purple procs 2 -res procs as my planned chain with thorn trops whenever its up.

My question is:
Are the -res procs really that effective in slow chains?

6.5 seconds isn't that slow of a chain. My rough estimate is 13% -res on average from those two procs, that's pretty good.

Of course it's a PvP proc so it'll be A) hard to get or B) Expensive as all HELL to get.

Maybe plan to have something in it's place until you can acquire it.

Acquring it is not the issue. If i won't get more performance out of it compared to a damage proc im not getting it though.

Thanks Auroxis

I don't know how expensive it is now, but I bought mine for 800million. I know that sounds expensive, but it was really just 1 sold purple recipe (admittedly one of the more sought after ones) and a few decent ones, sold at the market.

And at the time, the pricing on the WW previous bids were ranging from 600-800million.

I find the proc to be worth it myself. And I also think it puts ones DPS up more than a Damage Proc, but I'm not 100% sure on this, it's more feel than anything else.

However, if you're just looking to put it into an AOE power not for ST DPS, I'd just go with a damage proc.
