This is a new Scrapper I've been working on. I like her look and concept (I based her off an X-Man character called Surge) and I like the Mids build I have for her. S/L is about 4.5% away from softcap, which should get the job done and if it doesn't I can always pop a purple. Super Speed is the travel power of choice, again, concept. The PvP and IO sets will take time and investment to get, but I always see these form of builds as the ideal to work towards. I coupled Kinetic Combat with a Mako's Bite Acc/End/Rech to make up for KC's short comings. Energize won't be perma, but it'll be up reasonably fast and with Hasten it's about 4 seconds from perma. I have heard some people like to skip Grounded, but it's in for the extra NE resistance, just in case.

For Incarnates it'll be Cardiac Alpha (The EndRed is a bonus, I want the extra Resistance. Between Energize and Power Sink I doubt end was an issue) Ion Core Judgment and either Rebirth Radial or Barrier Destiny. Not sure about Lore or Interface though. Maybe a Radial Lore and Reactive Interface?

I'll take a look when I get home, I also have a 50 elec/elec/mu that is a LOT of fun to play.

As far as powers my build looks pretty much the same except I took super jump over weave and build up over electric shackles. I find ball lightning and mu bolts the only good powers in Mu Mastery. Everything else sucks imo except for maybe slottting for set bonuses.

I'd love to see more responses here because I am curious on a good build.

Not having perma-Hasten means not having perma-Energize. The reason why I like perma-Energize is because it allows me to:

  1. Ditch the Cardiac Alpha for more Recharge with Spiritual because of the permanent 59.6% Endurance Reduction.
  2. Have a massive, always-on amount of layered damage mitigation with Regeneration, great Resists, and softcapped Smashing/Lethal Defense.
  3. I can add a Rebirth Radial Destiny for even more Regeneration.
Wish I could get Elec/Elec/Mu, I don't even have slots left over for them, so my build has Body Mastery. For now I can justify not having Mu Mastery on my character a little bit, because APP/PPP aren't customizable yet. Maybe my build can give you some ideas:

You know what, I was actually able to improve upon the build and add in Mu Mastery. The net Recovery is lower than I would like, but with Power Sink available every 20s (and auto-hit) I wouldn't have any problems with my Endurance. Hasten is 116 Recharge/120 Duration and Energize has less than a second downtime. I like.

Looked over both of bAss' builds then remade mine a bit. I dropped Elec Shackles. Hasten is a bit higher on the recharge, not Perma but close to it. S/L Defense moves up to 46%, a little over softcap. Should work quite well.

It looks like a fun build.


Do you need powersurge or is it just muling the 3% glad piece?

I ask because with LR, it really seems a shame not to have BU.

It's a mule.

Maybe at some point I'll work out a way to add BU, but the only way I think I could is to drop Hasten. And since I want Super Speed (Concept build) but I don't have City Traveler I need Hasten.

Hell as of today I'm just getting Assemble the Team. ;_; I wish there was a way to speed up getting the vet badges.

Power surge has all the toxic resistance in the set, so I wouldn't necessarily get rid of it even if you could.

I agree with bAss on not picking Cardiac, though instead of Spiritual I recommend musculature radial for more damage plus better endmod (affects both stamina and power sink). On that note, power sink could use a couple more slots in all of these builds. Three endmod IO's plus the musculature radial tier 4 make power sink able to completely sap an entire spawn--even bosses--after their first attack.

Edit: Also, you don't actually need Havoc Punch in that last build you posted. You have just enough recharge to run CI>CB>JL>CB while hasten is up, which is the best chain anyway.

Alright, here is what I came up with. I've been playing 6 years and I still can't even touch the ridiculous prices of purple IO's on the market (one one drop since they were released, joy!) so... I made a budget farm build which I'm pretty satisfied with. I'm not so big into capping s/l defense as a lot of other people. I feel it gimps my damage output too much. I ended up with 10% defense all around (meh) and 20% to AoE.

The goal here is damage procs in the AoE's, +hp, +recharge, and +accuracy (attacks are pointless if you miss). If I need survivability that is what power surge and my team are for. I've got energize close enough to perma for my likings. 1812 hp, 85% recharge, and 66% accuracy. Not too shabby.

Cardiac might not be needed, but I like the added resistance it gives. Although Muscular might also be worth looking at and swapping too.

Power Sink, at least in my case, is only one slotted because I needed the slots elsewhere. Kind of makes me wish these builds would give us another two slots at 50. ;_;

After respecing into and playing my build I posted above I feel like it could use a little work in the damage department, otherwise I am happy. The musculative alpha slot may not be a bad idea! Would anyone mind reviewing my build? I am always open to tips.

Lightning clap has been suprisingly effective with stun slotted plus spiritual alpha. It's nice for the inbetween mobs when lightning rod is not up and I have exausted most AoE already. Minions/lt stay stunned for a solid amount of time!

Also, I feel elec melee is lacking in the crit department. Either lightning rod should crit or thunderstrike should have a 15% chance to crit like head splitter. That's just my opinion though...
