For once, a crackpot theory that has nothing to do with Nemesis!

So, a friend and I were talking about Kheldians over AIM. What, exactly, constitutes a body that can be used as a host? Is sentience required, or do they just need any non-objecting entity that can act as a quantum anchor and source of energy? Especially when you consider the conecpts of the Japanese kami and the North American manitou (objects have souls/natures), could such possessed objects be the explanation for some poltergeists?

Keeping this in mind... could the City of Villains Television, Radio, and Slot Machine contacts be Kheldian?
