The NCSoft store limits you to one purchase per credit card per day to prevent fraud.

Since discovering this, I've only used PayPal to purchase boosters, and have had no problems buying boosters for both my accounts.

Take it up with NCSoft. The people at Paragon Studios (aka, the game developers and board admins) have no control over it.

Anyway, you should be able to purchase the other booster you wanted anytime after midnight.

You'd think nobody' ever heard of a shopping cart system.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

One of the problems is that you have to select a game account to apply the code to and that is probably difficult to implement using a shopping cart system.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Not necessarily... Before they started automatically asking us which account we want to upgrade with the new code, it would only add the code to our master account. Then we would have to open the account we want to add it to and press Upgrade, and then select the new code from the available list.

If they went to a cart system for multiple code purchases at once, it would probably just work the same way again... although I doubt they would do that because they might consider it an inconvenience to the customers who only buy single codes and don't realize they will have to take the extra step to apply the code to their game account.. which is probably why it was changed to the current way to begin with.
