Performance during editing local stories

It periodically spikes up and down per Issue. Sometimes it's super smooth and other times it's unbearable and/or has a high chance of crashing the system.
yeah, mine has crashed at least 6 or 7 times...sigh..ok..i don't feel so bad now

Editing during peak hours or in busy zones seems to make it worse. But going to Kings Row on a Wednesday morning doesn't necessarily make it go away. I've also noticed more problems with bigger file sizes.

Has anyone else had any issues recently, perhaps starting with i20 with the performance for editing arcs? While I do have a number of custom characters, the load time now is almost twice as long as it used to be.
