An Apex record?
For Apex TFs? I've been on one that was only 35 minutes, and I'm sure others have beaten it in less than 20 minutes. Difficulty is automatically at +4x8 anyway.
Edit: Nevermind, just noticed that it was a duo run. Dunno if that's ever been done before.

Ooohh, that's very nice indeed.
As I said, I had no idea if it had even been attempted before, although I suspected as much, but solo or duo Apex times I had never heard of yet so then there's no reference.
Although I presume that solo run was not on x8 and if it wasn't it isn't directly comparable I'd still call it a much better result than this.
Work to do I guess.
Since I started these things MoLGTF went down from 3 odd hours on the first try to 1:36:46 later and MoITF from 59:09 first time to 33:44.
I guess some more practice could work small miracles for Apex too. I'm gonna find out at least.

I think it is impressive. I also think we will see more things like this as the Incarnate powers are released.

More importantly though, I'd like to know what Emperor Cole thinks of his invasion spearhead being completely rebuked by 1-2 people. Maybe it was a bad idea to attack Primal Earth at the same time that the Well of the Furies gushed open there?
As an 8-person task force, doesn't Apex always do x8 regardless of player settings?

On non-incarnate TFs that means generally all difficulty settings are taken into account (except for instance the inner circle and LR himself etc on STF which are forced 54s as well) and on Apex the + modifier won't have an effect, but x still does.
At least... I didn't test that for Apex specifically, but I presumed so going by the fact I know that's the case in many other TFs.

Duo MoRun in 0:42 with a 6 minutes pause before entering the final mission (my friend had computer troubles and was playing the whole thing at 1 FPS, rebooted and fiddled around with stuff), without trying to go fast.
One death because he has a 3 second freeze at each big AOE and got one in a blue patch. No temps because lol, temps. x8 first mission, x1 (x2) second mission, putting the second mission on x8 would have added maybe about 5 minutes maximum.
Based on that single attempt I can already tell a decent time, if going fast, for a normal duo Apex should be in the 20-25 minutes range. Hardest part is as always not to do the thing but to find people to fill.

For reference though, did you use the police drones?
We weren't very lucky on our defense rolls in the first bit where you need to clear the 3 hotspots which caused too many trips from hospital and we spent probably the most time of everything on all those Warwalker EBs.
Hardest part is as always not to do the thing but to find people to fill.

No, fixed spawns like for instance the romans on 4th mission of ITF on the towers and in front of rommy are all consistent in size since they're all individually placed to get them neatly lined up like that in a formation, but the vast majority of mobs is spawned like any other mobs outside of TFs afaik (though with a higher LT to minion and boss to LT ratio) and take into account difficulty settings.

So a TF that requires 8 members to start will always be x8 regardless of your difficulty or amount of members elft in the team.
If a TF requires 4 members to start, the TF will scale down to x4 as you lose members, but will not go below x4 even if you're solo.
Like you said there are some spawns which are fixed regardless, but that wasn't really his question. Its kinda pointless to say you did it at x8, because it will always be that by default

1 boss, 1 lieut and 2 minions to keep Infernia under control before I freed her... all spawns throughout the TF really are tiny on x1 while the minimum player required to start is 8.

I have no idea how much this may've been done before to begin with, so just wondering: has anyone done this quicker on any server?
Difficulty was set to x8 and the only temps used were 1 HVAS and 1 Snowbeast.
