Yeah Ultrawatt is completely accurate. Especially if its a farming Brute like you've said it will be your money maker for your alts.

If its a farming Brute, you must ask yourself, "why must a farmer have so many travel powers?"

I've seen quite a few farming toons that do NOT have any travel powers to make it that effective to their playstyle. Some may just have Super Speed.
With that in mind, you can grab a few powers to add that will benefit you well for farming.

I do advise that you roam & seek other threads on this topic, view their ideas and builds to get a better understanding of what it is you're missing out on.

That's really not a good farming build.

For farming on a SS/Fire you really only want 1 thing. Recharge. Thanks to Stamina now being inherent you now have the option to add a few extra powers to devote to defense. I like to use defense powers as LotG mules. This allows you to build for more recharge and get a nice layer of defense to boot. Now, baring the use of super expensive uniques or purple sets, you can get a nice high-end build going. This is what I have right now:

Perma-Hasten with the Spiritual Paragon. Some would argue that Mu is a superior choice, and it may be. I haven't run hard comparisons, but I really feel like I'm killing faster with Dark Obliteration. Under a Fiery Embrace, the added upfront damage kills everything it hits right away which keeps me from wasting time and endurance on enemies who would otherwise be alive if I had used Ball Lightning and had to wait for it's DoT. Plus Gloom is just an awesome attack.

Well, awhile back I tested it out. Two builds with equal +rech and stats the mu build did the same mish in about 4 mintues compared to 6 it took on the soul build. So yeah...

Of course that was almost a year ago, A LOT has changed since then and that mish now takes less than 2 minutes to run haha.

I don't have the resources to try it out myself, but it'd be interesting to see how Fiery Embrace has changed that.

I went for recharge, F/C defense and cost-effectiveness. To keep costs down, I used merits for the LotGs, Health slotting, and Performance Shifter proc. I also saved a bundle by purchasing sets at levels 45-50 instead of all at 50. Any pure mule sets (e.g. Taunt & Boxing) used the cheapest I could find of any level. Here is my current preferred build:
