VEATs have no access to APPs in any way.

I wish they would change that. I'd have LOVED the energy mastery pool for my widow. These days I have the Cardiac Alpha, and that works well, but if I could get Physical perfection I'd love to swap to say Musculature instead.
I guess the idea is for parity with Khelds, but IMO khelds need APPs/PPPs too. It would help me fill out my PBs concept. He was a super before he got joined (he's a version of my FF/Psi defender) and it makes no sense for him to have simply STOPPED using any of his previous powers. A Psi APP would really help me flesh him out, even if there's nothing all that great about the pool itself.

Although Mid's allows for selecting APPs for VEATS, all Wiki information says that this is a no go. From experience, I know that I can't select APPs as a villainous VEAT; does this change when I change alignments?
If so, do I have to go all the way to the Blue Side; or can I get access as a Rogue?
