Indeed I am. I Grew up with He-Man cartoons & toys. I have even seen the revamp they did in the last 90's, I still have some of the toys unopened and unplayed with. I also got my 10 year old brother into He-Man, got him the DvD set of the revamp show, Castle Greyskull & a half dozen guys to go with it.
BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL,
I HAVE THE POWER!!!!
Double the fun. Double the orko.
Wait a sec. That's a trip to therapy.
Tomorrow Nite is our Weekly CC.
Prizes have been doubled
1st = 200 million
2nd = 150 million
3rd = 100 million
We will be in Steel Canyon.
Now for some 80's and 90's fun.
HE-MAN!
And the Masters of the Universe.
I am Adam,
Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Castle Greyskull.
This is Cringer
my fearless friend.
Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic
sword and said:
"By the power of Greyskull"
HE-MAN!
"I have the power!"
Cringer became the mighty Battle Cat.
And I became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.
Only three others share this secret.
Our friends the Sorceress,
Man at Arms
and Orko.
Together we defend Castle Greyskull from the evil forces of Skeletor.
HE-MAN!
Reminder: Tonight is the night for our Masters of the Universe cc in front of the Steel Canyon University at 10 P.M. Eastern.
We've doubled the prizes for this one.
I hope to see you there!
Thanks for coming out for "Masters of the Universe!"
We had so many great costumes that poor Goat freaked out and paid something like thirty Honorable Mentions

Thanks to everyone who turned out for tonight's CC.
It was a great turnout and the costumes were great as always.
Goat will be posting the winners a little later.
Next week's CC will be "Going Rouge" on the bow of the USS Mason, docked in Independence Port. Dress in any style you'd like as long as the predominant color is red.
Since Monday is a holiday, this one will be on Sunday, July 3rd at 10 P.M. Eastern.
As usual there will be a CC and trivia, with over 350 million INF in prizes.
Thanks for the prize, Hero/Twisted Dawn! I'm very proud of my character! It means a lot!
Sorry I logged out fast, I was awfully tired.
And here's how you get to the USS Mason in Independence Port (pulls down map)
It is the boat where Admiral Sutter of the Sutter Task Force is so once you get off the train or port from base or oroborous, head in NNW direction to that boat. It is behind the hospital.
So see you mo.....errr sunday
(a cop, a construction worker, a biker, a cowboy, a G.I. and a very friendly indian comes from behind and starts singing "In The Navy")
You knew this was gonna happen.
I've been playing CoV since 2005 (breaking b/w 2008-2011). I had no idea you could go in the Money Fight Club! I thought the CC was outside!
I want to express how impressed I was by the CC in the Monkey Fight Club on Monday.
The trivia (and prizes) filled the time while the judges made their walkarounds and made their choices. I even won one of the trivia questions (Rogue Rontgen)! My Inf poor villain now haz funds!
All who won the CC prizes had fantastic costumes and were most deserving of their rewards.
I'm looking forward to the next CC!
Keep up the great work!

You know, we're just the ones that organize these events.
It's the folks that show up and participate week after week that really make them something special.
I've been around since 2005 as well. One of the things that I love about CoH/CoV is that I still come across new things that "wow" me. One of the reasons we chose to have this as a "Travelling CC" was so we could host it in a new and (hopefully) visually interesting location each week.
Thank you for your kind words and support! You know, we're just the ones that organize these events. It's the folks that show up and participate week after week that really make them something special. |
Speaking for all Redsiders everywhere, we most definitely enjoy having attention on our side of the game!
