Pet for a scrapper?
I think I'm gonna settle on Clockwork... looks as though they have the most damage. I haven't decided if I want to go with the buffbot or the LT though.
Don't mistake coincidence for fate.

Seers and clockwork are ranged based pets, where warworks and IDF are melee based.
Seers give fortitude as a buff and heal (sometimes), but they knock things around with TK blast, and levitate.
Clockwork gives +def as a buff and heal (sometimes), and they do -regen (plus lots of AoEs)
IDF does +def (sometimes) and heals (again sometimes) as a buff, and deal mostly energy damage
Warworks does +def(sometimes) and heals (sometimes) but they do the most single target damage of any of the pets (APU and vicky +50% from t4 does about 166 DPS for their duration, which out damages some tankers)
Honestly, on a melee charater, that scrappers or stalkers, i'd go with clockwork or seer, just so the pets don't die before their duration is up.

	I hate all of them.
I went with Seers. The buff they grant is nice enough...then I dive into the spawn and they die instantly.
If level shift were not associated with it, I'd skip the entire thing.

Even with that, until they give me options that fit my concept I will not go past t3, if there wasn't a level shift I would have skipped it all together.

Do you have to summon the pet to get the level shift?
I was in a particularly poorly lead BAF today though and Viki and I held a door alone. So the thing is useful even if I don't like the pet itself.

| No. The shift is there if you have the power slotted, and you are in the trial. You never have to use it if you don't want to. I was in a particularly poorly lead BAF today though and me and Viki held a door alone. So the thing is useful even if I don't like the pet itself. |

Howdy, what would be the best pet for a softcapped DM/SD scrapper that's IO'd to the gills?
The more people I meet, the more I'm beginning to root for the zombies.
