Mind/Thorn: Lots of fun!
I've avoided doms in the past because of end issues (even with domination) but I have just discovered they are awesome with inherent fitness and purchased travel powers (to free up slots for more kapow). I started a mind/psi dom and got to 12 in the first day, I forsee more of them in my future.
Wanted a new Mind Dom and because I don't repeat sets, I had a choice between Thorn and Ice. Thorn fit the concept better so I went with that and I have to admit I was shocked by how much fun it is to play so far.
I am not even at level 10 yet and I was amazed by how much damage she can do. Locking guys down and then impaling them is awesome! I know the combo is a little offbeat but if you are looking for a new Dom to play, I would recommend it. |

Mind in general seems like fun, but not having an AoE Immobilize always annoyed me. I just wish they would PLEASE give us Illusion! ... Not having an AoE Immo in that seemed fine since PA kept aggro around them normally ...

I have the four +HP, +End accolades, with Demonic Aura and Megalomanic for when the stuff hits the fan.

One of Total Dom or Mass confuse is typically up every mob. I seldom care about what mob I'm facing, just pwn them all.
Next respec I might try the Ice Pool, sleet looks good. And if I go for a more def build, which I thinking of it has Frozen armour. Hmmm plus I like hibernate.
I'm also tempted to replace leadership for stealth, to help with freeing up some slots, but I do pug a lot so vengeance comes in handy :/
I love the recharge on it. Wouldn't want to sacrifice that. But looking over it can see a few changes. I have Musculature Slotted, which I need for the damage boost.

Thorny Darts is actually pretty good, and WONDERFUL for damage procs.
Apoc Proc, Achilles Proc, Lady Gray proc, Shield Breaker Proc, Acc/Dam HO, Apoc Damage-- Makes this attack into a beast at 3 seconds base recharge.
Fling Thorns is also too good for damage procs to fill with sets:
Achillies proc, lady Gray Proc, Shield Breaker proc, Acc/Dam HO Ragnarok Damage-- Is just nasty on an attack you can spam like a machine gun.
This is just personal, but Aim is only really useful on blasters, I would skip it and get thorn trops in asap. People really discount trops and I don't understand why.
Dominator Impale really blows. For its activation time, the damage it does is just not good... I don't know anyone who takes it, and doesn't end up dropping it. You also slot it with Immob sets? Is this a PVP build? Why not take slots out of this, and finish Thorn barrage?

Your build is about 8+ billion inf more than mine.
I do like it, great def boost on it for 20% less recharge.
I'd miss the Fireball/Rain of Fire AoE fun.
You now know someone who likes the Batter's Up Impale. Its a cheap mule for a purple set too. Sadly is probably is one of the easy things to unslot for better.
I like multi procs idea, even though I think the achille's one is over rated.
I don't discount caltrops, but would only need them earlier for side kicking down. I still use the ST confuse a lot too when SK'd down.
Aim I like for the +perception IO as well as the damage boost.

Here's what I'm looking at for next respec using Ice Mastery.
Soft Caps S/L, and has 110% recharge. I'd miss leviate being well slotted for the few times I enter PvP. But much more for throwing low con enemies around.
I'm also assuming the ribosome expsoures will act as -resist in sleet.
Thorn darts and fling thorns more proc'd up.
Still doing some tinkering.
