I tend to not rely on Conserve Power, due to the intense recharge time. I noticed on that other thread, you posted a build; but since I'm at work, I can't load Mids. Did you take Hasten? I also noticed that you have invested in LoTG +7.5 recharge, so with Hasten, you're already looking at 107.5% recharge. Just a few sets can get you higher, but are your goals insanely fast recharge on SC/LR?
Personally, I started out with a Musculature Alpha, thinking it would help me with my lack of ST damage on my Shield/Elec, but I eventually settled on Cardiac. It makes endurance even less of a concern(and I think that's important, due to the lack of defense from -End with SD). It also boosts resistance, and while it's not much total, it throws me over the 50% resist mark on S/L. That discounted endurance from Cardiac is definitely helpful after Hasten wears off, and I feel also offers more versatility in regards to enhancement slotting.
Spiritual is a good choice, IMO.
You get your best attacks up sooner(Lightning Rod, Shield Charge, Chain Induction), you get a bit more HP out of True Grit, and if you take Aid Self it becomes significantly more effective as well.

Am not keen on your build to be honest. I think you could improve on the slotting and then worry about which alpha to go with. Better to land the best build you can muster and then see which alpha is useful.
Its the miracles in health and the performance shifter setting that I am not convinced with then after that you kind of lack endurance and either resistance or +hp.
If you get aid self you'd have somewhere better to put the miracles. Then perhaps its just the performance shifters that you're taking to get upto 53ish% aoe def.
You could also afford not to slot combat jump that way, one def would do and put two slots elsewhere lowering something else like the end cost of your attack chain, or better still getting better recharge out of build up and haste. Other people may probably have better ideas than me as it been a long day and am a bit sleepy and tired right now.

How's respec work when you're incarnate slotted? I've never done it. Are you locked in?
There are a couple threads on alpha slot choices, but instead of mucking theirs up with my build, I thought I'd make a new one. Basically, I'm ready to slot my Alpha and I'm a little torn. My initial thought was Cardiac for the eventual +RES (and the associated END reduction - although not a problem with Conserve Power running - but would help some).
Then I was reading that more people seem to favor Spiritual, but I just don't think it would be very noticeable for me. It would take my Lightning Rod from 36.4s down to 32.7 and Conserve Power from 249.2s to 221s (a bit more noticeable, I'll admit).
