A new look at temps/inspirations/AE

Recently i made a new Peacebringer and have been enjoying playing him the classic way of hollows/PB arcs. Now i havent played a peacebringer in a good 2+ years so it was like playing an AT i hadnt played before and needed to get back in the groove.
During the first 10 levels my plan was to do a normal arc followed by an AE arc and repeat this, this is so i can enjoy the low level content which i havent done in ages while also trying out some low level AE arcs [which were very good!].

Now during the AE arcs my peacebringer was 8/10 times able to just walk through it without much trouble, however in the hollows arcs my character would struggle a bit due to voids and bosses [i always have to have bosses on] and my currently low damage output + low resistance. This is where i experienced a new aspect of the game . . . . . those temp powers!
I was able to get a Backup Radio and the salvage needed to craft it but didnt have the influence to craft so i gave a shout out on the main chat channel if anybody could lend me 7k and instantly had replies of people offering which in turn made me think awww thanks people

Now this backup radio power while not much use to my level 50 character [which is what i had only used it on before] was a dream come true for my low peacebringer. Due to my costume it did seem we were actually on the same team and we destroyed everything we came across, really made me appreciate just how good it actually is! Damage might not be awesome but just that tiny bit of extra damage would be enough for us to kill any void/boss with a lot less problems.
This brought me onto other ideas, i wonder what other temp powers would be usefull for this character? Well thanks to a few lucky drops i was able to craft hand grenades/plas taser/revolver and with my backup radio, i felt like a beast during my "weak" stages.

Now onto inspirations, before i had just used inspirations which i had before however we all remember how tough the hollow bosses can be [defeat all creatures in caves for example], especially the one where you have to defeat a magmite lord + a CoT boss same time. I had used most of my inspirations up to there and knew the chances of my survival was minimal at best so i did what any other hero should do. I called out onto the global channel for some help, i asked if anybody would be able to send me a breakfree and 2 lucks [there was another void with those 2 bosses] and within seconds again people were sending me so many that i had to actually shout for them to stop, really was shocked at just how quick and how nice people were to do that. Yes it is in reality nothing to get happy about but it did make me think just how nice those people were.
Took me all this time to realise i could shout out for some inspiration help while in dire need on the global channel and now think that is a much better tool to use if say you need a wakie, instead of taking a long hospital trip, shout in a global channel and get one sent to you. Could it be seen as lazy? Perhaps but i think its just a nice gesture.

Finally on to AE, now im a big fan of the AE arcs. Some of them are some of the best i've played ingame and i wanted to try something a little different while levellin up too [no quants/voids in AE? boo!]. Played some great arcs, one of which involved me rescuin the "great face" by just searching for the enemy groups within my level range [hellions/skulls]. Now that i got my character up to level 22 using this and up to roughly 90 merits/1400 AE tickets, i decided to "cash in" all my tickets for recipes so i could start slotting. This wasnt to make money, this was to get some good recipes that i could slot into my Peacebringer and start to really feel heroic.
Well i did have some great drops which i was able to slot into most of my powers, but the others which i couldnt i quickly put on the market and was able to then buy the other inventions i was missing at the time.

But what is the point of this entire thread?

The whole point of this thread/post was for me just to share my experience in a different part of the game that made me really feel connected to my character and enjoy the low level in primal earth. Remember temps are good and AE isnt all about the farms!

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

I agree that the temp powers, whilst largely useless at Lv50, are really handy on lower level toons. However, as you pointed out, when you're at that level you can't really afford to craft them, which is fine if you can supply inf from other toons or have generous benefactors, but it does put something of a downer on it.

I do love the idea of emailing wakies and break frees; in fact I think I might start keeping some in my global mailbox at all times in case any of my toons need them at short notice.

I keep meaning to play a Peacebringer, but I just always feel that after my Warshade it's going to seem rather underpowered; though it will at least be easier now that Voids/Quantums have been so heavily nerfed.
