Recently started finishing up my current project, a claws/sr, and deciding what to roll next. I have it narrowed down to elec melee as a primary, but not sure to have for secondary. If I go elec armor, I'll have a lovely damage aura, and a self heal, where as if I go shield, I;ll have shield charge, +hp, and fairly easy to soft cap. This toon will be 99% normal pve stuff, TF's, PuG's, things like that, with farming only constituting maybe 1% of my play time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thx.
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

I'd vote /SD. Like you said it not too hard to softcap all positions and Shield Charge is so very satisfying. I consider an Ele/SD the king of scrapper AoE.
I'll admit to not having much experience with elec armor but IMHO double crashless mini nukes > Damage aura
