You can go to Posi or Tina in person and it will work, but, to the Pillar, the old versions of the arc-givers don't exist.

You can also call either of them, as well as the old version of Maria Jenkins or Primal Earth Calvin Scott, right from when you start the Flashback, or at least I've been able to when I've done those.
