DM DPS Questions

So this is the build that I'm working towards on my DM/SD Brute. Assuming AAO and Soul Drain each hitting 7 targets and Fury at 75%, can anyone tell me:

1) What my highest ST DPS attack chain would be? (probably MG>S>SL>S?)

2) What kind of DPS would said attack chain create?

Also, if you could walk me through the math, it would be much appreciated, so I can crunch the numbers myself in the future.

SL, Gloom, Smite, MG, Gloom, Smite IIRC
SL, Sloom, Smite, MG, Smite is pretty good and doesnt require as much recharge and has slightly better EPS.

Taking fire blast and fire ball into account, the highest single-target dps attack chain for your build is MG>S>SL>S, as you expected.

274.89 dps (261.15, after taking into account 5% chance missing)
eps is 2.79. You need dark consumption to maintain your endurance.

Actually, the hard part is to find out the attack chain. But once you have the chain, you can use the Mid's planner to help you calculating dps. In the planner, you can set the fury to be 75%, and AAO and soul drain to 7 targets. Turn on all the relevant clicks and toggles, including assault that grants damage buffs. In the option menu, check the use ArcanaTime box. Then you can read off the damage and the cast time from the planner, add up the damage to get the total damage, and add up the cast times to get the cycle time of the attack chain.
