Kinetic Melee as a Blaster Secondary

Am I crazy or does it seem like Kinetic Melee was almost perfectly made to become the next secondary for blasters.

Concentrated Strike	2.83
Quick strike, body blow, and smashing blow are all quite fast. Blasters likely wouldn't get repulsing torrent or focused burst in a secondary. Burst is 2.67s, but it's a PBAoE, which are almost always slow (see FSC, combustion). And concentrated strike is actually ~.5s *faster* than total focus and friends. And even assuming they got power siphon instead of a standard buildup (I have a feeling power siphon might be a bit tricky to figure out how to implement, as blasters have that entire other attack set), I don't see any reason to complain about the extra ~.5s given how awesome it is.

Honestly, it's really weird how universally KM seems to be regarded as a 'slow' set when the animation numbers are generally no worse than most sets.

FSC and Combustion (especially Combustion) are exactly what I don't want to compare to for new blaster secondaries. /Fire has a large number of the most egregious animation times for its powers. The only thing that's worse is /Devices.

I'd love to see a (or even couple) nice quick, crisp, no nonsense, get the job done, secondaries for blasters (since we don't really have any). Martial Arts or Claws would be excellent in this regard.

If MA went something like this:

I'd still take it in a heartbeat. What I'd love to see would be....

Crippling Axe Kick - (make it the blaster's mag 3 immob but be unique and put it here in a power that does damage first and mag 3 immob second)

Crane Kick - (100% chance to KB for blasters)

Eagles Claw -

Buddy I'd be there. I'd have an Arch/MA or a Fire/MA so fast the devs heads would spin. It would quickly be the most survivable, high performance, blaster in my stable. I'd be in 7th heaven and it would switch my focus from Doms and Controllers back to my blasters again.

At this point ill take any new secondary for a blaster they wanna give me !! at least wit KM i can make my fire /km haaaaaadooo- ken guy also siphon power + defiance FTW !!!!! hello uber recharge build

Rage,footstomp, handclap, knockout blow excellent

But blasters won't get a mag 2 area stun, I doubt they would be willing to give blasters an aoe kd.

Rage maybe, you could argue we should have rage by now.

Compare to Electricity Manipulation. They could add the 50% chance tag to the stun on Hand Clap if they needed to. AoE KD already exists for blasters, Ice Patch, Hail of Bullets, and Psionic Tornado.

You change it to Build Up. I know, the crying, but you just do it anyway. The people who will complain about it are not likely to want to play the blaster AT anyway.
