Cap def Necro/DM build

Hi:
I'm trying to creat a max def build MM for tanking without any succes. The +def build I can manage to get is very low and I'm finding it almost as a lost cause.Want to find use of my 1bill inf I have for this MM.

It's possible to sotf cap Def a Necro/Dark MM?

If isn't possible to get soft cap def what other benefit I could build around for my MM?(Anything except +regch, IMO MM don't need +regch)

What is the most use IO build use for MM anyway? Can't find any particular trend for MM


I want /Fire stalker. Because nothing says stealth like dumping a can of gasoline on yourself and lighting a match. -Morac

I think the only way you can do it is with Darkest Night. Basically you get 1/2 from IOs and 1/2 from Slotting Darkest Night high enough to give you a 25% -ToHit Debuff.

Again I'm just not crazy about it even though it works. When you loose the toggle if you have too much aggro you can fall flat fast.

I don't think you'll have much luck with that, personally. My alternative advice would be to just go with a resistance toggle and DN/FS for mitigation. That's easily 40% resistance before BG, and roughly -30% ToHit for your enemies. Those figures don't count the additional de-buffs to damage from DN along with the soft-control from FS.

Here's a Mercs/DM MM with soft-capped S/L and 40% to Ranged and AoE. DN and Fearsome will get you "soft-capped" to everything.
