I really really want to like my Claws/Sr again...
Well you have 192% global recharge but didn't slot FU with enough recharge to be able to run FU-Focus-Slash chain, for starters. See my thread further down the first page here titled "180dps is not enough" for some tips.
Why wouldn't I want to use Swipe in that attack chain? It recharges in half it's cast time and it's got 2 damage procs, one of which is the purple. I'm not really going for pylon soloer here, I'm going for Task Force leader (all my toons, people pretty much expect me to form everything). So I need to be able to do plenty of ST and decent AoE damage as well is survive pretty much any type of alpha in the game for at least a few seconds while the others catch up to me.
Not at a PC right now so I can't use Mids, but generally I'd argue that what makes a Claws pylon soloer also makes a good claws generalist. This assumes you get at least some AoE, I went with Spin and Shockwave myself.
So yes, running FU-Focus-Slash is very, very nice. In general use, you may get more mileage out of FU-Focus-Spin, though.
The end use looks a little prohibitive to me and I do not think you have much reason for the Spiritual, considering the levels of recharge in the build already.
I might go Cardiac.
Musculature Radial Paragon could be fun as well.
Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.

Edit:that came off defensive but seriously why wouldn't I want it in my chain?
I remember talking about this build with you yesterday, it certainly has some nice features and resembles a lot of what I'm planning to do with my SR scrapper once I get him set up for Leviathan mastery. (Edit: It's pretty cool to see what SR can get away with when you fling both 3% pieces and HOs at it.)
Since you're not interested in a bleeding edge single target seemless attack chain I won't worry about that, or perfect endurance sustainability. I don't know how useful Water Spout is, maybe it's superb and worth the slots. But I look at those five slots and I see some useful things you could buy yourself. With three more slots in Tough and two more in hasten you'd have another 7.7% or so of S/L resistance, and perma-hasten without needing the spiritual boost. Cardiac or Musculature both being attractive options.
The only other thing I'd add is that the cast time of Aid-self always drives me nuts, but if you've used it and enjoyed it before, more power to you. Oh, and I'd put an end redux in PB instead of the recharge. Not a big deal though.
Example of what I mean:

Yeah after thinking more about it, Musc. seems like a great way to keep my damage even higher. I think I will rework this build at a later date once I save up some more Inf since I just blew it all on the Fire/Regen/Soul.
So much for a later date...I decided to tweak it a little using some suggestions from the boards here.
I upped my HP a bit by dropping some procs and changed the 3 golgi in Aid Self to 3 Numina's for the +HP as well as adding in 2 Steadfast in tough for almost 2 more points of Resistance to SM/Lethal. IDK What it ends up being w/ Cardiac, but slotting 3 Titanium Coating's over my original slotting of just the +3 defense procs only nets a 5% increase, while adding 3 slots. So I opted to go for more HP in 3 slots instead of more HP and more Res in 4 slots. Also switched the +Regen proc out of Health in favor of a third miracle, lowered my regen by about 2 or 3 hp/second, but gave me more HP which I think means more to a Defense build than Regen(since I've got Hibernate and Aid Self as backup, and they are just that, backup. I don't intend to use Aid Self much except for maybe after a big fight that leads up to another big fight.)
I took Water Spout for a couple reasons. One it is a fifth purple that is more useful than slotting AA in Boxing. Also I didn't want to take Spirit Shark because my attack chain is fine without adding in a power that will require redraw. Water Spout will mainly be for AV fights and such. Summon and forget, get back to slashing.
I was able to keep Perma-Hasten by only adding one slot of recharge once I took Musc. over Spirit. Gotta love Quickness. Musc. also seems to bode well for the overall build. The added recovery is minor but useful, the damage will be good of course, but I had missed the fact that it added run speed. That makes me feel even better about skipping a travel.
Also a comment about end usage to Strato (Hey Buddy!), my build has Ninja Run turned on because most likely it will be on most of the time. But, that isn't to say that if I am in a particularly long fight I can't just turn it off for a few seconds or whatever.
So...new build. Is this better?

I like it. It looks like another fun build for speed running TFs.

If you were just looking at 50+ content and trying to maximize DPS, the consensus appears to be that FU-Focus-Slash is superior as a single-target chain. But it's up to others smarter than me to explain the math.
Heh yeah I have Laevateinn to do my math for me. She always tells me I should test it myself, but she's Asian, her math always beats mine. :P Thanks for all your help guys. I'm going to have to start farming hardcore again to get my funds a lil more in order.
This doesn't really answer my question why I shouldn't use swipe in my attack chain. With 2 damage procs and the recharge as fast as it is I could keep that as a melee attack chain if I wanted to die of boredom. But it does seem to make sense to me to use that in my attack chain.

As I see it the advantages of FU-Focus-Slash over FU-Focus-Slash-Swipe are that you get more stacking of Follow Up and that you do more purple procs per second. But the recharge requirements are much lighter and using Musculature with the longer string may give you almost as good results. Spirit will improve your survivability a bit but Musculature will help with end management. Tastes will vary.
On an unrelated note, would you mind posting your Fire/Regen build?

My Claws/SR scrapper used to be one of my favorites...that was until my Night Widow came around and did everything he could do, and then buff the team. But I see new hope in BL00DSTAIN once again with the addition of PPP's. /SR and Hibernate just seem like a match made in heaven, and with inherent fitness and NR/BR I can finally take the medicine pool and not feel like I should have just played something else. I would just skip a travel in favor of the NR/BR+Sprint+Swift+Hurdle+Quickness.
Code:
I was able to come up w/ some numbers:
45.9% Defense to all
Aid Self w/ 44% heal a little less than 6 second recharge and half a second of interrupt
Hibernate every 60 seconds, and if I can't last 60 seconds, I think I've got other issues
192.5% recharge with one-slotted perma-hasten after Spiritual Core Paragon
So here is the build, please tell me if i'm doing something wrong
