Updater NOT connecting

Hey, for some reason my CoH Updater is not connecting. It says Connecting #1 and will continue to say connecting. I left it up all night and it said connecting #500. My laptop was working fine and still is, it just randomly did this the next day when I wanted to play. I have NO clue what to do please help thanks in advance

There was definitely something odd happening on the server side last night. I also had issues connecting, but even the website was extremely slow last night.
