I and Everyone Else/Map Server
If it was only you that mapservered I'd suspect your PC, Local Network or possbly ISP.
If it was everyone on the server I'd suspect the servers or network at that end.
As it is several but not everyone I'll suspect its a network issue somewhere in between
That being the case there is little that can easily be done other than trying to identify the problem link and bringing pressure on the providers to address it. It may be that a bit of tweaking of timeouts might help reduce the occurrences but that is only patching the symptoms and not fixing the underlying problem.
You need to raise a support request. They will probably ask you to obtain some network statistics but even then if the problem has cleared there may not be much information to be gained. However over time a picture can develop pointing to the possible sources of the problem.

If this was on Wednesday starting around 11pm EST, you are definitely not alone. Inexplicably, after hours of smooth play my powers started not activating when I clicked them, and I was rubber banding very badly. I logged out, and relogged in with the same problem. When calling contacts, I would have to click the "call" button 6 times and then after 20 seconds the window would pop open. I logged out since sync'ing etc had no effect.
Attack of the tiny type.
Please don't do that, I've have bad enough vision as it is.

Tempus unum hominem manet
At first I thought. Wow...your ISP sucks...and needs a punch...or a kick, or something from the figting pool.
But it seems that we are having issues with Map Servering. I thought it was just myself, but sometimes when I Map Server and get reinvited back to the team, only 4 people are left. The other 4 have all Map Servered with me. I have played a ton of games, most being quite graphicly intensive, and I can generally play them without issue of DCing, even with full Graphic setting on high.
I am not computer smart like some people, but my graphics card is good, and my computer is a solid gaming machine that a solid gamer built for me, to handle AOC whenI played it, so I assume with the graphic intensity of that game that the rig can't be a complete steaming pile of waste. And I assume that others are in the same boat.
Now I have experienced this with other games as well, and from checking forums, it seems it's a common thing or complaint within a few communities. LoTRO, DnD Online, and many issues revolving around that brand names company. But it seems common here as well.
Now my roomate, being a...I dunno...customer service nightmare had to change our ISP and we now have a VOIP connection and we have a router as well, which is what I am connected to. I wonder if that might be the concern.
So, my question is if perhaps routing the VOIP thing through the Router, as opposed to running the Voip thiny through the computer and then having the router connected to it, would be the best answer, or is it perhaps that this ISP VOIP thing is just not compatible with certain online games. Again I can play other games without disruption.
If anyone has an idea about this, that would be helpful, and perhaps other who are experiencing this issue, who have similar systems might be able to resolve this issue, or at least I can relay the information to them.
