Incarnate power pool requirements

So for my 50, Ive chosen the cardiac pool and have Cardiac Boost, Cardiac Radial Boost, and Card. Partial Radial Revamp. I just noticed that I wont be able to get my 4th until I also have Cardiac Partial Core Revamp, which is on the other "branch." Then I notice that you can't that until you have the one below that and so forth. So, basically you have to fill/nearly fill the entire "tree" first. Is this the case, if so, what's the point of choosing when everyone has to get the same thing? Why does CoH seem so against power customization?

It's not.

It's just the T4 alpha abilities require a lot of "sacrifice" - thus the two rares requirement. Note the recipes for the T4s scroll - you can mix any two of the T3s, but since crafting one boost consumes it's predecessor, you'd have to re-craft the T1 & T2 anyway.

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

Creating any very rare requires two crafted rare abilities. There are 4 different rare abilities, and you only need two of them, and you don't actually have to slot your second rare before you use it to make the very rare. You just have to do enough to make it and hang onto it. You are free to choose both your final very rare and which two rares you make to craft it.

...I forgot what experience means.

On the Very Rare Boosts, there's a small scroll bar. You should be able to create any Very Rare by combining any two Rares, so you'd need:

Two Rares (plus the extra shards and components) which means:

Two Uncommons (plus the extra shards and components) which means:

Two Commons.

Just make sure you're following the branch of the tree to get you the boosts you're aiming at for the recipe you've chosen.

You're not really filling the tree because you have to use the previous boost as an ingredient for the next higher recipe, but you do have to craft your way up two different branches.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
