Kin/Psi
Just a quick throw together, and I aimed for something that should be in any budget. Without knowing any specifics you want to build toward, or how much you want to spend, it's hard to really build with anything particular in mind.
It's not capped, but it's got a decent Ranged Def, and a decent AOE def. Good status protection for a Def. And it should be in most budgets.
And it has most all the Kinetics goodies that most everyone wants, I only omitted Repel, which it seems is fairly standard.

Not really sure what i want... I know I want high reacharge and money is no option. I have loads to blow on this toon. Although not enough for purps but definately a bil or a little over. I really just want to feel like im not just standing in the background on teams. I dont really want to be able to solo lvl 54's but it would be nice not to die instantly if i pull a small group of 50's. My main problem is I get board with him very quickly. I intentionally avoid playing this toon because i have no idea how to slot him... I can build a scrapper or a tank i even do ok with trollers but defenders just seem to baffle me. He has all the right stuff for supporting a team but its a challenge taking on anything by myself with this toon. I only have IO's in him now but I would like to make him epic since he was my first 50.... Basically Im asking for some help to make my first toon epic. I want someone to show me what they would do to it if it was theirs.... keeping in mind that I want to do some damage while making sure my buffs and heals hit everytime (or as close as possible). I just dont want to run a ITF and be so tired of him i dont touch him for 6 months lol.
I took some time to put together this build which is more the way I build kinetics. I would emphasize, it's a matter or priorities; I DO NOT mean to say Madadh is wrong. I focus on accuracy, stealth, endurance management, and recharge. I also tried to get more oomph into the status resistance. I am not totally satisfied. I am tempted to drop psionic tornado to free up slots for other powers and take hover.
In my humble opinion, defenders with psy blast should not skip psychic scream. It has a longer activation time, but the -recharge on a wide cone is so hard to pass. I also incorporated psionic tornado. Admittedly you woudn't COULDN'T use both AoEs in each attack chain or you would get locked up in animations too long. Fortunately telekinetic blast and will domination are super-quick. AoE attacks against swarms of minions while fulcrum shifted produces a lot of fast easy xp.

I did load up on accuracy, tohit, and accuracy bonuses, but how much accuracy do you need for fulcrum shift to hit a +4 AV in an incarnate task force? (Seriously, I am not sure of the number, but it has to be high.)

So I've been browsing the forums looking at a few different kin builds and I think I have come up with one I like. I was able to soft cap S/L perma hasten and get some KB protection. Most importantly however is the +Acc, and +tohit because every good kin knows that the most important thing is making every heal and FS count. I dont plan on trying to tank on an ITF but I will be harder to kill.

My first 50 was a kin/psi fender and to this day i still cant come up with a build I like. Anyone have some ideas? any help would be great. I want max survivablity without giving up the great recharge.
