Procs in long duration clicks

How does a proc work in a click power that last longer than 10 seconds? Will it still only fire once? Thanks!

Regular Click - Checks once at casting. Examples - Fortitude, Speedboost, etc.

Drop-power click - Checks once at casting, and again every ten seconds. Examples - Rain of Fire, Earthquake, Disruption Arrow, etc. Pets such as MM pets follow different rules (Procs in them go off based on their own power usage.)

Drops are pretty much any effect with a duration that requires you to target the ground.

Thanks! So Freezing Rain is very Proc friendly, esp since it really doesn't need ACC or Dam.

Freezing Rain can house at least 3 damage procs. They all have a chance to fire every 10 seconds which gives it a heck of a chance to hit lots of baddies hard, randomly.

Take it, Slot it, Love it.

**points to sig** I can promise you that almost any questions you may have about freezing rain will be answered there.

Freezing Rain can accept 5 damage procs, although I would recommend the Achille's Heel and maxing out recharge rather than filling it up purely with procs.

Also, note that there are only two chances for procs to fire in Freeizng Rain (since the rain portion lasts 15 seconds) once at the start and once at the 10 second mark. The first proc though will be on the first tic of the rain before the defense debuff has been applied, so if you're planning on proccing out Freezing Rain, you may want to consider a little accuracy in it depending on your build and intended targets.

Freezing Rain is not autohit. It gets enough chances to hit that it will most likely hit at least once, and then the defense debuff means it will probably hit a lot more, but it can benefit from Accuracy.

Thanks, that's what I have planned out in Mids. Thanks for the guide link.

As for ACC mods, isn't Rain x2.0 (150%) out of the box?

Summoning the pet is Acc 2.0

The pet's attacks are standard accuracy (75%)

This is the same across all placeable powers with accuracy checks.

Just echoing what's already been said several times, Freezing Rain has standard accuracy on each hit, and inorder for your proc to have a chance to hit, that very first tic needs to connect. Although in normal play, there are enough tics from Freezing Rain fast enough, that eventually streak breaker will force a hit. BUT if you are trying to get the most out of procs then you will probably want to supplement accuracy. You get no proc chance if the first tic misses and the second hits.

Thanks, guys. Learn something new every day.

That's very deceptive in-game info. Esp since the drop is really 100% and doesn't use normal targeting.
