WP and Clockwork

How come I owned these guys back in Praetoria from lvl 1-20, but now at 50 they're one of the few groups I have to dial back on the mish diff for?

Anyone have any tips for WP handling them? Normally Regen combined with soft-capped s/l def is pretty sturdy.

They are different groups, more powers etc, and, assuming you are meeting them in the Apex and Tin Mage TF's, +4 to you. Of course they are harder.

Sorry, subtlety doesn't do well on the net. Does anyone have advice for dealing with clockwork (and seers) for a WP at level 50? At normal diff, not +4. Right now I just dial back to a smaller spawn size, but I was wondering if I was missing something about how they work that would allow me to stay at x8. Thanks!

Pretty sure they got a big ol' -regen component in their burny-type powers, which is kind of troublesome for WP.

Also the titan class zeus EB at the end of the roy cooling arc . . . . . . he puts your regeneration right down to zero.
My first ever brute [ss/wp] would have cried if it wasnt for a timely double KO!

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

And I think the Seers' -regen comes from Drain Psyche. Both of those attacks are AoE, which Willpower has a harder time getting a noticeable amount of.

The Seers' attack would be psi-typed, and I think the Clockwork Plasma attacks are Energy (might be Fire. I'm really not sure on that one). Building the appropriate defense typed to block the attacks is the best way to avoid the debuffs.

Thanks. I'm at 28% Energy Def, 27% Psi Def and 29% Psi Res. Combined with capped s/l, that's not shabby. The fact that they basically ignore Taunt may have something to do with it. It's hard to get many of them into RttC range, and Footstomp doesn't mitigate nearly as much as normal. Maybe I should pop oranges instead of purps.

The lower-level Praetorian Clockwork have it as well (as my Sonic/Traps Corr found when he started monitoring his regen after getting Triage Beacon; even at 1.54%/s those low-level PClockwork have no trouble getting me down to 0 regen, even if there's only 3 Minions). If the OP could handle it then, that component of their attacks should be no problem later.
