I guess I haven't been keeping up with this as much as others but I'm assuming when they say "two films" for the Hobbit that they decided to break the one story up into two parts. That's probably a good idea just so they can fully cover all the details without trying to smash it all down into one movie.

Looking forward to seeing the two parts together back-to-back.
