Moving City of Heroes

Hello all, this is actually somewhat of a 2 part question concerning the game as installed on my computer and my OS.

Right now CoH and the CoH beta test server are installed on my drive C: Which is also the drive my OS is on. I am planning on switching over from Windows XP to Windows 7 very soon (tm).

While I could just upgrade from XP to 7, I think it'll be better if I just start over from scratch. Which means formatting C and installing Windows 7 on C....But I'd rather not spend 72 million hours redownloading all the patches.

So I was wondering just how difficult is it really to move CoH and CoH BS to another drive from C. Really shouldnt be that difficult but it seems like I've had problems in the past when I tried. I have Powerdesk so it should just be simple enough to move the directories from C to E or whatever. But again, if memory serves I had problems when I tried that.

Copy the City of folder to a new location.

Do your install of Windows 7.

Copy the City of folder back to the location of your choice.

Copy the launcher to a temporary location.

Double click the launcher. When it asks for the install location, point it to the place where you previously copied City of.

Close and delete the launcher in the temporary location.

You may have to copy a shortcut to the launcher from the City of folder to the desktop.
