Just a warning about VirtualBox... the snapshot functionality is a total train wreck. It has an extremely high probability of breaking in creative and annoying ways on you, often resulting in an unbootable image. Occasionally you can fix it yourself by digging into the XML files, but that's quite a messy afair. I'd recommend simply exporting a copy of the VM instead of using a snapshot... at least that doesn't have a high probability of trashing your VM!
Also, I tried Mids in VirtualBox about a year back, and it had all sorts of horrible rendering glitches, such as some text not showing up, as well as the various pop ups not actually appearing. Can't hurt to try it, it's possible it's improved since then... but don't get your hopes up.
;_; ?!?! What the heck is wrong with you, my god, I have never been so confused in my life!

Hope I'm not resurrecting this thread too much, but I just figured I'd mention that VMWare Fusion (with a Windows VM, obviously) runs Mids just fine. Admittedly, it's an EXPENSIVE solution, but still.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
