Question about account for the Vanguard pack event

From what was posted,
It gives the impression as long as your account was active (regardless of whether or not you have a billing plan in place) during the whole time of the offer, you should be good to go.
So as long as you made your account early enough it shouldn't matter as long as your account is still playable the whole time, which it would be since when you cancel a payment method it still stays payable until it needs recrediting, which you did already with adding game time cards.

So just make sure you add a Game Time Card or a Game Card before the day mentioned as your last on the account management page (don't add it on that day unless you're 100% sure you can remember what time of day you activated!). Don't worry - the time will be added to your current time, not start a new 30 day count.
Thanks guys, that's really good to know. I thought I messed up when I pressed the "Cancel Billing" Button. I'll make sure I add more time before the last day.
Word of advice : that timecard you used? Keep it with the cd key for the game. If something happens and they want proof of you being you, the first two things they ask for are the cd key that opened the account and info about the first sub payment. In the case of a time card they want the whole number. You can also just save it in an email in your email account - either way keep that info!

Hello Everyone, I wasn't sure where to put this question as there was no place I could find to put it.
I just have a question regarding my account. I'm very new so I just need to make sure I was doing things right to get the vanguard pack for free. Yesterday, I put in a 2 month sub card on my account and it's now valid until April 10 of this year. When I signed up, I used a credit card so I could play. I know it hasn't charged me anything yet.
Since I didn't want them to charge my card and I wanted to use just game cards for this game, I clicked on "Cancel Billing". Then it put me on the screen on some type of survey asking me why I "quit"? This got me worried. I didn't plan on quitting. I just planned on using Game Cards since there are months where I couldn't play and I didn't want to pay for those months and a Game card can help me avoid that.
My question is, is my account still valid for the Vanguard Pack event? It will expire on April 10th and I plan on putting more time card on it to make sure I go past April 18th, which was the requirement for the Vanguard pack. Do I have to worry about anything else? Do I just need to make sure my account is playable from Feb 1st to April 18th?
