What's the ealiest date someone can get a Vet Reward?

For example, I created my account on April 21 2004 and my first 3 month badge is listed as July 28 2004.

What is the earliest date any player can get, say, the 81 month vet reward? For example, I am scheduled to receive it on Feb 28, 2011.

I know of people that seem to get it at least 1-2 weeks before me, but never paid much attention to the date before.

According to the rules established by the Devs themselves the official start date of the Vet award system was April 28, 2004. It's not supposed to matter whether you started during the Headstart period or had an account set up prior to that date. The official 81st month anniversary date of this game is January 28th, 2011. The official anniversaries have always been set on the "28ths" of their respective months (April, July, October and January).

Having said all that it has long been known that there are a few people out there who get the latest Vet award several days or even weeks earlier than the established anniversary dates. For some reason the Devs either can't fix these problem or won't fix them. It has never really been established why this is the case - perhaps having a system that actually applies the rules fairly to EVERYONE is just too much of a hassle for them to bother with. Clearly something's messed up with their account databases and they've been that way pretty much since the beginning of the Vet award system.

Basically we're left with a system that let's some people be luckier than others.

Wow, how did I just know that Loth would be the first to chime in on this particular subject? Now all we need is Turg in here and we'll be all complete!

This last one was only about eight days early, and there had been no patch to put the badge information into the game for a month prior. Compared to the two and three months early that we were seeing reports prior to the recent adjustment, eight days early is nothing. You enjoy your early Veteran Awards, Turgenev.

And for what it's worth I'd be "hating" on Turg if he had actually done something to actively exploit the system.
As it is he's basically just an overly-vocal lottery winner who likes to "rub" it in every three months.

Rest assured if there was anyone else out there who consistently "advertised" the Devs' broken Vet system I'd be "highlighting" them too.
It's certainly nothing personal. Case in point I didn't even bring up Turg's name first in this thread this time. Then again, I don't think I really had to either.
