flashback freezup
On a side note, it seems a couple of NVidia's recent drivers do it too, so it's not necessarily ATI's fault.
Thanks Master-Blade, I was hoping somebody would have a specific driver-number to try.
Okay I've downloaded 10.9 but I'm still running into the same issue.
Stupid question time: do I have to uninstall the old driver somehow? I've never rolled back to a previous version and my system info is still showing 10.12 as the current driver, like it selects the newest driver by default, did I miss a step somewhere?
Typically, we would suggest uninstalling your current driver, reboot in safe mode, run a program like Driver Sweeper, reboot, and then install your new driver as you normally would.
Issue solved, 10.9 did the trick. Your tech-fu is strong, wise master.
Yeah, this was a major issue a while back - 10.9 drivers was the solution for a LOT of us.

Hey. I'm having an issue on my new system that I crash when accessing the Pillar of Ice & Flame to choose flashback missions, both in Ouro zone (red side) and through my SG base (again red side). I can open the menu and select a level range, but as soon as I click an actual arc my graphics freeze and I need to end task to get around it. I get a feedback window blaming it on a display driver, updating drivers has not helped.
I'm running:
AMD Phenom2 x6 1035t processor
ATI Radeon HD 5750, 1024mb graphics
8gb DDR3 ram
Windows 7, 64bit
Has anybody else run into this?
