There are quite a few, but you're really going to want to ask this in the forum of the server you play on instead of here. You'll get answers to what people on that specific server are using, otherwise you're just going to end up hearing about teams forming on a server where you have no characters.

It will be a global channel.
As was mention, check out your server(s) forum below and there should be a list of channels and what they are for in each one.
