Spine/Nin farm build?

I was wondering if anyone had a good spines/nin farming build. I respeced out of Assassin Strike kind of as a joke but it turned out i was actually doing better without it and was having a blast. I don't wanna take AS as there'd really be no point since my opener would be throw spines (50% crit chance is ridiculous) but if it's really needed i honestly don't mind. I don't really care about the cost I just wanna aim for soft-cap at least and all that other fun stuff. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

From just a quick glance. Never made a Spines/nin, but i have elec/nin fully IOed so i could give some advice for nin

-Drop slots from super speed and super jump and keep the kb protection in super speed and super jump. Move them kuji in sha and put the doctor's set for recharge
-Remove 2 slots from tough and just keep the Steadfast unique +3 in it
-Slot Lunge with a 5 Crushing impact or 6 Touch of death/Makos
-Superior Conditioning looks a little over slotted and so does stamina and health

If you post the data chunk, I would gladly make some changes. Go into Mids and click the export data chunk only option.


1- Superior Conditioning, Health, Stamina, and Physical Perfection are all WAY over-slotted even though I see that you did it for positional defense. I prefer to put 2-3 parts of Performance Shifter into the SC, Stamina , and PP, usually socket just the End Mod + Proc, but sometimes adding an End/Acc or such for 1.88% max hp at 3 parts.

2- It's a waste to 6 socket Health in that fashion. If you need 6 parts Numina's for the ranged defense, move it all to Kuji-In-Sha, your heal. The Numina's unique will function for 120 seconds every time you click the skill.

3- Since you need AoE after addressing the oversocketing of Stamina and PP, put an Eradication into Spine Burst or Ripper, and gain Melee defense by socketing Touch of Death into Lunge rather than proc muling it. This is better than wasting a full 6 slots on Stamina.

4- Also look to use 3 parts Aegis in Tough for some AoE defense.

5- If you indeed want a farm build, then you absolutely want to have another AoE skill. Take all of the extra sockets you save and pick up Torrent for an extra AoE attack with amazing soft control.

Thanks for the feedback! Like I said, this was my first try, and I edited the data chunk in just now so you can get a better look at it. You're right, I did mess up on slotting stamina, heal, etc. I'm now just debating if i should take out ss or phase shift or anything else for energy torrent because I was thinking between spine burst, throw spines and ripper all recharging at around 4-7 seconds (roughly) i could cycle through them without any problems. Does it show how fast powers recharge with hasten active? But anyways, I have yet to actually try this out since I haven't started slotting ingame yet so please let me know if I'm wrong on that.

Edit: I don't know what I was thinking not slotting my click heal at all, haha thanks for pointing that out

It does. You have to click the button by hasten to activate it (green colored).

Here is what I would change on that build. Blinding Powder is a must-have signature skill for Ninjitsu, as it debuffs ToHit (effectively granting defense to all), mezzes, and doesn't break Hide. Caltrops is a similarly powerful skill for its ability to shut down incoming damage and make foes run, and I would also add it to your build. I also tend to take the g-d mode on Ninjitsu even though most players don't. When you face foes with +ToHit, foes that have lots of -defense, or foes that con +4, you will be grateful.

The first one is with Purples. The second is without them if they are outside your budget. Note that you are still softacpped to all positions because Hide grants 2.8 defense even when suppressed, so basically add 2.8 to all your defense values.

Awesome! I think I'll start working towards that purpled build you made. One question though, is it possible to just put Performance Shifters: Endmod and Chance for +End in all three endurance powers? (Stamina, Physical Perfection and Superior Conditioning) Instead of the PS: End/Acc/Rech you put in I mean.

For sure. If any of those skills do not have End Mod + Proc, then I just messed up when I was hammering the build out this afternoon. They were all meant to have End Mod + Proc at 2 slots each.
