For those sincere about figure drawing

For a long time this has been THE BOOK when it comes to figure drawing. I have never met a figure artist who doesn't reference this book when discussing sources. I would even go so far to say that many see it as the Bible of figure books. It has been out of print for YEARS but it was recently announced that it is being reprinted, finally. I know I'll be ordering a copy asap, it's available for preorder now.
But I have also found it online though I find there's no beating a book in hand.

Be ye warned, nudity is in the book but as it is a figure drawing book...well duh.
Anyway I was just thinking about it and thought I'd post about it.

Good thinking Camille.
There was a thread for what various artists around here use as reference when considering anatomy.
Not sure if that book specifically was mentioned but Loomis came up in it.

I added my own favorites titles by Burne Hogarth (Dynamic Anatomy), George Bridgeman's
(Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing from Life) and Stan Lee (How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way).

I missed that thread I guess. I hope http://posemaniacs.com/ was included. Great site. Google actually has a really awesome thing too. It's called body browser: http://bodybrowser.googlelabs.com/ Not as great for poses, but awesome for anatomy.

No if I remember correctly these were book titles artists had in their own library not websites but good adds both, I'll have to check out that Google app on the PC that is beta testing FF 4 since 3 doesn't support it.
