Disappearing Hero Merits!

Just to verify it, those toons didnt go Vigilante/Rogue after u earned the Merits?
Also u did it with a friend, was it ur mission or his?
Was the Merits shown in the special reward tab?
Did u play the toon meantime and what did u do with him?
U sure ur Account Name and password is safe and no one else has access to it?
Also was there server maintenance in the time between, we had some problems with deleted Mails and such.....

My mission, he didn't have the mission.
Yes, got the "Hero merit rewarded" Announcement and I got the merit. I saw it on the salvage screen under special.
Did not play the toon, it stayed in the same location
To my knowledge, my account is still safe. If it was hacked, the toon had almost a billion INF on it, I would expect the thief to clean me out. Still I won't know til someone from NC checks the account's records.
Finally I don't remember if there was any maintenance. I don't believe so. Was there one over the last 7 days?

Well thers a regular maintenance every thursday so the answer is prolly yes.
But in any case Petition it and see what the officials say to it.
The losing Mail stuff while maintenance is bad enough, losing alignment merits would be close to a show stopper,.....
About a week ago, I played one of my toons, got a merit and logged her off. When I came back to her a couple of days later, her merit had disappeared. I figured I had logged on at some point and maybe spent it although I couldn't figure on what so I wrote it off in my mind.
Now I was playing another one of my toons 2-3 days ago and I KNOW I had gotten the merit cause I had done it with a friend. I KNOW I didn't spend the merit because I wanted 2 recipes and I was trying to decide on which one I wanted and which I could by from the market. That merit also disappeared.
Has anyone else noticed this or had it happen to them?
