Praetoria--Can you help me wrap my brain around it?

Let me say upfront that I have no complaints about Praetoria, but I want to be sure that I am understanding it correctly. Can anyone answer a couple of questions?

1) The point of Praetoria is new content? You get to move your toon from lvl 1 to 20 with content you haven't gotten tired of? (And you get to play with the opposite-side ATs)

2) Once you hit 20, what happens? Do you choose a side and go? I don't think you stay in Praetoria.

3) If you make a Praetorian and do not want to stay there (meaning move to blue or red sooner) is it possible to leave and not go back?

Once you hit 20 and train you will get a new contact who offers you a mission to go to Primal Earth. At that point you will choose if you prefer to go to Paragon City as a hero or the Rogue Isles as a Villain. You can technically stay in Preatoria and do missions with other people if you wish but you will not get any new missions.

No, level 20 is the earliest you can make a decision to leave. Non-Preatorians or Preatorians who have passed level 20 and left can enter Preatoria if they desire (passage is through Pocket D).

You do indeed choose a side and go.

You can't enter the Rogue Isles or Paragon City until you hit level 20 and get the exit mission. The most you can do is travel to Pocket D before level 20.
