First look at RAID-0 SSD
Has anybody fixed the TRIM issue with RAID drives yet? Last I read TRIM didn't work with RAID.
Also RAID 0 isn't RAID. The R in RAID stands for redundant and RAID 0 isn't, lose either drive, you lose the entire array.
At the very least you will find out how long mission initialization on the server takes because the loading up the local resources should be nearly instantaneous compared to a mechanical hard drive.

Nyet. There are no RAID drivers that support TRIM within a RAID array.

Also, yes I'm aware that -0 isn't redundant (unless you want to quantify extra speed as redundant).
Nothing horrendously important is on the C drive. Moving off the spinning disk drive that was my original OS disk, I was able to hook back into my SQL DB from a new SQL instance with zero problems. My work apps are all still installed to a standard hard drive and reinstalling them was simply a matter of doing a clean install then swapping the original directories back into place (I love how stupid and portable they are).
Plus I have a nice copy of Acronis 2011 for backups now too.
The only thing I will NOT be restoring is my copy of PerfectDisk.
Whew, and I've been impressed with the performance boost I got by putting an Intel 80GB SSD in as my C drive. Too many other things to spend the money on right now but I'm wondering just how much real world improvement you notice moving from one SSD to a RAID 0 of SSD's. I noticed a fairly massive improvement going from a 7,200 disk to the SSD.

Basically my SYSTEM is the bottleneck now, not the drives.

And my Windows Index is now 7.2. Everything else on the system rates 7.2 except the drives (7.9, max index).
On a down-note. I was a bad marketeer when making my purchase. I had two windows open. One for a GTX 460 and one for a GTX 460 SE. I accidentally took the SE instead of the standard 460.
And, even with a couple things flashing "SE" at me I went "Buy it NAO".
So I get it, go "WTF?!?" and figure "a hell, I'l StepUp to a regular 460".
NOPE. The one I bought doesn't have a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Just a 2 year limited. Not eligible for StepUp.
Ah well. Will teach me to be more careful the next time I make my purchases.

On the bright side, the system actually performs the way I feel a computer SHOULD perform. I can be running 2 instances of CoH, browser, email, Word, Excel, Yahoo IM, Skype... and then open Photoshop to edit a screenshot.

Haven't gotten a lot done so far. Farted around way way too long and found out I was NOT on the latest BIOS for my board (so it wasn't letting me install to my SSDs).

So I upgraded the BIOS and VOILA!
Here's an Atto disk benchmark. Windows is rating disk performance 7.9.
I REALLY wanna see what happens when I load CoH on there!
