You went pretty far over the soft cap (45%) on S/L defense. Psionic defense from sets can get you high enough to not worry about switching out of Granite. When exemplaring below 27, a second build that focuses on the other toggles would be better for when you don't have Granite Armor. You can even put all of your slots into the powers you get before 32 to get more benefit out of them.


Here is a template I made for Granite tanking. It has everything you need (soft capped defenses, run speed, psi defense) but has room to change the attack power set and add more bonuses.

What AT do you normally play? I ask because stone has very low damage. If you came from ATs that do damage, like blasters, scrappers and brutes, you may not even get to level 10 for the frankly pathetic damage you will see. Sets like dark, invuln and electric are good middle of the road sets, while shield and fire deal more damage.

If you are sure stone is what you want, Syntax has a good looking build to go off of.

Naturally Stone does more damage type def, so gaining positional type def thru bonuses don't achieve much. Also there was slotting that was just a case of overspending rather than gaining so for a quick change I did this, 5 mins is all I spent on it.

I recommend 3 slotting Swift.
You put 2 Recovery IOs in Health, but your End already seems fine
You put an Acc in Jab, but with set bonuses your Acc should be high enough
You picked up the extra armors, something I wouldn't do probably, but depends if you wanna be minerals sometimes and granite others.
I would consider trying to get Earth's Embrace closer to perma.
As someone else said, some of the set bonuses you earned at the 6th slot are positional, but you already have high typed def. You should focus on typed bonuses instead.
I slot Granite differently, YMMV.
