It always seemed odd to me that thew Ogres have Stone Armor and Stone Melee powers. It doesn't really suit them, or fit with the Superadyne theme.

I suggest giving Ogres Super Strength attacks like all other Trolls, but instead of Invulnerability like the Calibans have, give the Ogres Willpower.

Or give them War Mace and Shield Defense then equip them with shovels, pipe wrenches, and manhole covers.

This thread turned out to be a lot less funnier than I thought it would be.

Well, lore wise, the reason for trolls gaining stone powers is because Superdine enhances or brings out latent powers, if I recall right.
This is actually represented in game, sort of, when you're in a superdyne lab by getting a recovery buff from a nearby lab set. (Remember kids, drugs are perfectly okay if you can kick tanks in half!)

so it's more just a bizarre coincidence that apparently, that all trolls' latent powers happen to be SS/invul, or Stone/Stone.

'dyne also gives space/time manipulation powers. Thus why Consiglieres have Gravity Control.

Rather than lose the Stone/Stone Ogres, I'd rather see Trolls get a new LT type alongside Jutals/Gardvords that use stone attacks.

Indeed, adding more lieutenants that use Stone would be a good solution to preparing players for the bosses using Stone powers. Personally, though, I wish they'd scrap the Ogre bosses in general and just use Supatrolls, instead. Saves the need for Stone Melee altogether.
