Slotting Resistance Builds

I am thinking about starting an Elec/Elec, so was wondering the best way to slot the resistance toggles. I usually use IO sets, but don't really see huge advantages in the resistance sets, so I was thinking about 3 slotting the 3 toggles and tough with 3 Ribosomes and slotting the auto power with the 2 +3% DEF and a knock back.

Any thoughts on better slotting?

Or 3 Aegis for Fire/Cold defense. Also 3 Titanium Coatings will give you some extra HP. (pseudo resist_All)



Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

here are 43,4% def to aoe, 39% fire/cold ,paired with 41,3% psionic resi, other resis are good as well, what should be enough:

Why would you aim for AoE & F/C defense at the expense of melee or S/L?

Its easier to get S/L and Energy/Negative defense by slotting attacks. I have a hard time finding Fire/Cold Defense bonuses besides taunt and resistance sets.
