The winter event is up on Test server now (has been for a few days).
It should be rolling out for the Live event soon.
What exactly is in it, that's different from previous years, I'm not sure of.
I haven't bothered reading through the test server threads on it as I like to be
surprised by the events, but it's all there if you want to go read about it.

As much as I want to shift a handful of characters around myself to better manage my solo SG's, why haven't you simply been making new characters on other servers? Leveling is ridiculously easy nowdays especially when combined with super sidekicking.
You don't need free transfers to "explore" other servers.
Last year, players were given free server transfers, we were able to explore other servers, populate more servers, and enjoy and make friends with others, making it a more sociable environment. I was proposing that this is brought back to the table this year, so that we may continue to explore, and now more than ever with Issue 19, how fun it would be to go to different servers for a while and run the new TF's with people all day and go through the new arcs.
