Excuse me if this has been asked before, I couldn't find i

Is there anyway or are there any plans in the future to allow players to break down converted "shards" back into thier basic forms?

Ex: say you receive an Ancient Nictus Fragment as a TF reward, but don't need it, will/would you be able to break it down into 4 basic shards to re-convert?

Thanks

Travel Suppression is this game's worst feature, well that and MetaHumans riding mass transit like tourists at DisneyLand.

I doubt it, given that:

1) We can't break down other crafted items (well, except for refined base salvage, but that's because their usefulness has been discontinued)
2) This would create a path of least resistance to incarnate enhancements, as someone would eventually find a fast way through a task force that would lead to the return of the Speed Katie, in Incarnate Shard form.

If you find you've claimed too much of a given piece of Incarnate Salvage, I wouldn't worry about it. The higher tiers of the Alpha slot, and later releases of new Incarnate Slots would most likely give you a chance to make use of it eventually.

most likely won't happen, given that you can buy Grai matter with only vanguard merits. I could break down grai matters alld ay craft into soemthing else and run another ship raid for 800+ merits... Withthe only hurdle being an 18 hour wait limit.

Dont sweat it. The third and fourth tier of alpha will most likely need a piece you dont currently need. just do like everyone, and horde your stuff.

O well, I could dream, all they'd have to do is do away with RWZ buy Grai Matter option, then that could open up the conversion possibility. Can't anything else with em... thanks for your replies.

But that would make the Gr'ai matter the only common componet not obtainable otherwise.
