Tournament Victor

Anyone know if this badge is bugged? Swiss Draw arena matches seems to be doing funky things and awarded the badge randomly to ppl.

Just wondering has anyone done it recently and if so how did it work out?

I'm having the same problem, random people move on no matter who wins the matches. Anyone with some input would be great!

I suggest doing a quick forum search on "Tournament Victor" (I used the quotes for mine) -- you will see there are quite a few threads discussing they bugs in the Swiss format and strategies for getting the badge.

Basically, one person is designated as the winner and everyone, but the winner forfeits the match. The people that forfeited first should be the ones that lose their match. Keep on having people forfeit the match until their is only one. There also seems to be a problem for the winner exiting the match before receiving the badge.

Out of curosity ... does this work with trail accounts? Meaning, can I make up 7 trail accounts, make a Swiss Tourney with them and my badger, then have them forfeit until I get the badge?

Or does it have to be 7 active accounts?

Just did Swiss Draw Tournament five times over to get the badge for five of our toons.

Every match was forfeited by a player by leaving the map (click Score then Exit Map).

Every 'winner' moved to the next round as they should. And the winner of the last round got the badge every time.

(Don't know about trial accounts.)

I beg to differ. Less than a month ago, I participated in a SD arena to allow a friend to get the badge. Despite getting offed TWICE by a scrapper then leaving hte match, my Ice/Ice controller got to teh second round instead ot my victor. Then, even though I didn't play int he final, I was the one to get the badge. Still definitely buggy. I petitioned the GMs about it right away but I don't think my friend got the badge awarded.
