What other blaster combinations have allot of ranged high damage attacks?
Fire is great, both as a primary and a secondary. I will say that I find /fire great for blapping. Fire Sword is a single-target attack, but Fire Sword Circle is PBAOE.
You might like radiation--it's a fun set and helps trash defense. But if you're looking for high damage sets you shouldn't worry so much about visual appeal--go with what's damaging. If it needs to be high damage AND pretty you'll find your choices limited by your own sense of aesthetics. Remember you can colour tint most powers, and that with i19 there are often options available for animations. You might be able to put together something that meets your criteria.
Go fire/mm if you want massive ranged damage. Pick the right powers and you'll have 3 nasty high-damage, quick animating ST attacks, and as many as 5 ranged AoEs. Fire/mm is my absolute favorite blaster combo.
For AoE I totally agree with Firespray on Fire/MM. But personally I really enjoyed Archery/NRG. Its innately accurate, has a quick recharging crashless nuke in Rain of Arrows, good aoe and great single target damage. Plus with boost range your sniper attack can hit things you cant even see yet. Thats what I call range. You can hit things through a spotter for Pete's sake! But its great on endurance, damage, accuracy, a fun nuke you use often without consequence, not much to dislike there if you dig on range.

Well, any Blaster primary has plenty of ranged damage... that's what they're all about after all. If you are looking for heavy hitters in particular, you have to start with Fire. It has Blaze, which is the highest DPA Blaster attack, as well as Fire Ball (the best targeted AoE) and good solid damage in the others. Pair it with /Mental for more AoEs or /Energy to boost the range (as well as be able to clobber anything that does reach you).
The big drawback to Fire is that you need to get relatively close though, since Blaze is a short range attack and so is Fire Breath. /Mental also requires getting in close to get the most out of it, though you don't need to stay there long. If you want to really hang back and blast, try Archery/Energy. Archery has Blazing Arrow, which is almost as strong as Blaze but has a full 80 foot range... with modest recharge you can get a full single target attack chain from 80 feet. Archery's cone is also longer than most others. Add in Boost Range and you can attack single targets from 120 feet away and use an 80 foot cone... not to mention a full range targeted AoE that's almost as good as Fire Ball and the single best crashless nuke in the game. And you even get a ranged stun (plus the option to take a melee stun to stack with it on bosses). My Archery/Energy hover Blaster can mow down whole spawns without getting anywhere near them, which means I can pretty much ignore enemy cones and other short range attacks and I never have to risk melee. And if anything does get into melee range I have Power Thrust to send it back to range where it belongs.

Eh, put my vote in for Archery/EM. Boost range, and Rain of Arrows.. makes fire blast look weak, but i can understand not liking the bow.
Fire blast is probably your best bet, though rad blast is probably a close second. Decent ranged (cone, and a targetted AOE) -def so you hit more often, and 3 or so single target ranged attacks, plus a pretty nice snipe (if your into that.
Well I am trying a kin/rad right now if I do not like it I might try the rad/mm route, arch/energy hmmm, it is not really the bow it is more of the fact I cannot make a good archer costume for the life of me, and I was not to impressed with the visuals but maybe it gets much better, and I may learn to like it, never been a huge fan of the best top damage, I mostly want high damage and be ranged and fire always seems to be the most damaging although I think I might try it now we can change colors I am just not into the element of fire in itself, more of a water ice kind of guy, but I really do not enjoy ice visuals from the blaster in this game, but I highly enjoy the ice visuals on other ats.

Forgot to mention the redraw annoys me shudders, but maybe they reduced it since a few years ago when I played, I did try a ta/a defender hated it though, to use to rad and dark for debuffs.
I been trying energy/energy and as far as ranged goes its the only one I like, I cannot say I am really into blapping, blapping was fun on my ele/ele so far but thats because of the end drain but sadly found the damage lacking to much and draining blue bars boring, not sure why it just got boring.
I was thinking maybe psi but hear mixture of opinions on it, then ice is just not visually appealing and assault rifle again not visually apealing, and niether is archery. I am willing to try fire, not really my thing but it might be fun, and fire secondary doesnt really look like its full of blapping, fire sword attack looks aoe.
Anyways I am opened for suggestions please let me know what you think thank you.
