Smash vs Lethal
Smashing has a slight advantage.
Most robots are weak to it, while only Carnies and Rularuu Eyeballs are weak to lethal damage. (To my knowledge at least, there may be other things weak to lethal, but I don't know what they are offhand)
The downside to resistances to them is, most enemies that resist one will usually resist the other just as strongly. I haven't noticed one or the other having a distinct advantage, and it doesn't seem to slow me down much even when there is resistance present.

I would say I prefer Smashing over Lethal. Purely preference though. Too often have I sat there wailing on robots with my sword, when a tank comes and one shots it with Hay-maker =(
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
Vhazilok zombies are very weak to lethal damage, and I think Banished Pantheon zombies are weak to lethal, to.
Goodbye, I guess.

This topic just came up on the Brute boards. How is everyone's experience Scrapper wise with the difference between Smash/Lethal damage. Either one "feel" strongerr than the other, especially in the all new all 50 world?
