Praetorian SG Prestige bump

According to the i19 patch notes,

Quote:
Supergroups

* When a Praetorian character leaves Praetoria for Primal Earth and joins a Super Group in the Rogue Isles or Paragon City, that Super Group receives a bonus to their Prestige of an additional 100,000P for each Praetorian that joins. The reason for the bump in Prestige is to make up for the fact that a Praetorian cannot form/join a Super Group while in Praetoria so isn't contributing to a Super Group until they leave Praetoria at level 20. The bump is to bring them in line with other Primals in the Super Group.
o Before Issue 19, if a Praetorian left their Super Group, the prestige would go with them.
o With Issue 19, the 100K Prestige bump is still given, but it's only given to the first (and only the first) Super Group that a Praetorian joins upon arriving in Primal Earth. If they choose to leave their Super Group, that Prestige no longer goes with them.
Does that mean that when the Praetorian leaves the SG, the prestige stays?

Have fun getting them all to level 20 so they can leave Praetoria and join your SG.

My "GRAND Plan" is to have 80+ characters of all AT's and all in my Virtue blueside SG. With GR, the plan was to either PL them to 20 on redside (the SoA's will HAVE to do this) and then run the tips to go blue. Or Level them to 20 in Praetoria and have them jump to heroes.
1-20 redside (using RWZ AE) is faster, but two days of tip missions negates some of that. That and adding the 100,000 P bonus for Prae chars might make that a better option.

If I bothered to spend around 30 minutes a day in the markets I could probably generate 2 billion Influence (and subsequently convert it into 4 million Prestige) roughly once every 10 days or so give or take. That's just buying and selling things in the market - I'm not even talking about doing anything with merits or anything else.

I think it's nice the Devs are giving us an extra SG Prestige bonus for Praetorian characters, but if you actually want to earn Prestige for a SG then worrying about loading it up with Praetorians will only get you so far.

I agree Lothic. I have over 1,000,000 unused prestige already and have a quite large plot with full functionality and many empty decorative rooms waiting for inspiration on my solo SG. (Was around for the double prestige gift thing they did WAAAAY back when.)

But since my choices on getting blueside villian AT characters are lvling redside but then having to the tips thing or lvling in praetoria, I WAS going to just to redside since PLing redside would be faster, but the getting a couple extra mills of prestige might tilt that equation back to Praetoria.

Knock yourself out.

I seem to recall a thread recently where folks calculated the efficiency of "Praetorian prestige slaves" vs. "Playin' yer 50".... I think the 50 won.
